BCCI's senior vice president Rajiv Shukla has ruled out cancellation of Australia's cricket tour to India following the serial blasts in New Delhi on Saturday. Speaking to rediff.com, Shulka said, "There is no question of the tour being cancelled."

Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil warned of "stringent punishment" to those behind the serial blasts in New Delhi and appealed to people to be united to thwart their nefarious designs. Patil, who reviewed the situation soon after the blasts, which claimed several lives, said the need of the hour was to ensure that their aims did not succeed and the situation was not allowed to deteriorate.
Anuj Chauhan, one of the two persons injured in Thursday's BMW hit-and-run case in New Delhi, succumbed to his injuries at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Saturday. Chauhan and his friend Mrigank Srivastav, who were riding a motorcycle, were hit by a BMW in the wee hours of Friday, when they tried to overtake it at the Moolchand Hospital flyover.The BMW was being driven by Utsav Bhasin, the son of an influential businessman, who was reportedly inebriated.
